The Response USA

America’s issues are not primarily financial, political or moral. Neither does America’s hope lie in one leader or institution. Our hope is found in the One who desires for us to turn to Him with our hearts. This is our response – to call on Jesus on behalf of America, that He might hear our cry and heal our land.

The Response: A Call to Prayer for a Nation at a crossroads. No egos, no logos, no other agenda. Our purpose is to exalt Christ alone.

In Joel 2:12, a nation at the crossroads receives a God-provided solution to their need when they are told to "return to Me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning" (contrition and humility). In that day, the command was for everyone to stop what they were doing and gather for a "sacred assembly," to turn to God with prayer and fasting.

These prayer gatherings are strictly non-political, non-denominational, multi-generational and multi-ethnic. This is not a day for preachers to pontificate, or for any politicians to promote themselves. Rather these are days to focus on 2 things; Prayer for our nation, and Exaltation of Jesus Christ.
